Job Description
About the role:
The Data Analysts extracts, prepares and structure the data required for the manual labeling campaigns to run in order to maintain the AI-based categorization models used throughout Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy & Belgium).
The role applies analyzing the data provided by the countries, ensuirng the dat set quality, creating the sample used for the manual labeling campaign, performing the quality audit and preparing the results for the data analyst to update or not the AI-based categorization engine.
Main responsibilities:
- Review transactions and ensure data quality is satisfying.
- Structure the sample set according to the business rules agreed with the central data team
- Work with campaign files and perfom quality audits ensuring labeling decisions are consistent across the assigned data population.
- Prepare results to be shared with local data scientist as well as other members of the data community across Europe
- Follow applicable procedures, methods, confidentiality requirements, and quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with the team data anlysts, data scientist or business representative regarding exceptions and uncertainties.
- Escalate suspected fraud indicators, system issues, data-quality concerns, or business-rule inconsistencies through the agreed channels.
- Contribute to progress tracking and operational reporting by providing accurate status information on assigned batches.
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of working instructions and labeling guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Data Management
- Good Excel skills and VBA, basic knowledge of Python; Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Ability to apply detailed rules consistently while handling repetitive and high-volume activities.
- Good analytical judgment and confidence to escalate uncertain cases.
- Good written communication, teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- High level of reliability, flexibility, delivery focus and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English – another European language is a plus
