Job Description

We are looking for a Business Partner / Portfolio Manager to act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring strategic alignment and effective collaboration across multiple departments. This is a highly visible role that requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage with various business areas, including Marketing, Network, and other corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and priorities.
  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact between business and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Marketing, Network, IT, and other business areas.
  • Support decision-making processes by providing business and portfolio insights.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and priorities across the portfolio.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance business processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Business Partner, Portfolio Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience working with multiple business functions in a complex organizational environment.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic technical knowledge and understanding of IT concepts, enabling effective interaction with technical teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in portfolio management, governance, or strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience working in large-scale or enterprise environments.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

Additional Information

  • Availability to travel within Portugal when required;
  • Availability for occasional international travel;
  • Experience in multicultural and international environments is considered a plus.
