Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join a dynamic technology team, playing a key role in the management, optimization, and evolution of business-critical data platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and optimize SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, integrity, and security of database environments.
  • Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and proactive issue analysis.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents while maintaining high service levels.
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies.
  • Participate in migration, upgrade, and modernization projects for data platforms.
  • Contribute to the automation of operational processes and the continuous improvement of database environments.
  • Support data integration initiatives and the evolution of data-driven architectures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administering SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience implementing and managing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Knowledge of data integration and data-oriented architectures.
  • Experience in database migration and modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and managed data services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting is considered an asset.
  • Experience preparing, organizing, and managing data for Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence solutions is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of autonomy, accountability, and proactivity.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Quality-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
