Business Overview
- This position is part of a Records Management Office (RMO) team that oversees and coordinates all aspects of regulatory and non-regulatory records across the organization. The RMO implements proactive measures to address regulatory requirements and stringent corporate governance record-keeping standards. Its objective is to manage corporate records efficiently, ensure their secure storage and protection, and make them accessible when required.
Records Management Office Description
- This role focuses on assisting in the execution and implementation of the Records Management strategy across AMER, EMEA and APAC. The RMO Analyst supports the progression of the RMO Target Operating Model strategy, covering a diverse range of records, including transaction records (pre- and post-trade).
Scope of the Role
- The individual in this position will collaborate across multiple cross-functional areas, including Information Technology, Compliance, Legal, Controls, the centralized Records Management Program and the Data Management Office.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and update RMO policies, procedures and retention schedules.
- Support the automation of manual processing activities related to regulatory and non-regulatory records.
- Oversee day-to-day BAU operations within the RMO.
- Contribute to a variety of RMO projects, including control framework initiatives, records management improvements and annual recertification processes.
- Assist in the transformation of records management processes to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle (pre-trade, post-trade, execution tickets, settlement, booking etc) of at least one asset class.
- Knowledge of industry standards data warehouse technologies.
- Able to analyse transaction at trade level and previous experience in trade reconciliation is beneficial.
- Quick learner and able to extract the required record from wide range of trading applications used in different asset classes.
- Facilitate and lead a collaborative environment, ensuring subject matter experts can work outside the box. engage people, helping them solve their own issues.
