Job Description
As a Senior Integration Engineer (BSS-Core) in Mobile Network Engineering, you will be responsible for:
- Act as interface between BSS business/operations and technical teams.
- Translate business and functional requirements into clear technical requirements and Change Requests (CRs) for vendor engineering teams.
- Analyze customer-observed issues and network anomalies and identify error patterns (e.g., CDR inconsistencies, provisioning issues).
- Support end-to-end defect triage and resolution across BSS, Core, and vendor organizations.
- Drive issue clarification, prioritization, and tracking within TT/PT and defect management processes.
- Validate and verify vendor solutions (e.g., Rakuten, Mavenir), including challenging proposed fixes where required.
- Assess end-to-end impact of vendor changes across BSS, Core, and service behavior.
- Perform log, trace, and protocol analysis (e.g., PCAP, KPIs) to identify anomalies.
- Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) for complex, cross-domain issues.
- Ensure end-to-end understanding of service flows and dependencies between BSS, Core (4G/5G), and RAN components.
- Support and improve observability and troubleshooting concepts across domains.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of telecom system architecture.
- BSS systems (charging, provisioning, APIs).
- 4G/5G Core network functions and integrations.
- Solid knowledge of 3GPP standards and telecom protocols.
- Experience with log, trace, and signaling analysis (e.g., PCAP, Diameter, HTTP/REST APIs).
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and defect analysis in complex distributed systems.
- Experience working in multi-vendor telecom environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate between business requirements and deep technical implementations.
