Job Description
We are looking for a TX (Transmission) & IP Network Technician to join a telecommunications team, focusing on the installation, testing, and maintenance of critical infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with relevant experience who are looking to strengthen their technical skills in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site survey activities, support installation, and acceptance of equipment in TX and IP network environments
- Conduct tests, trials, and measurements on TX and IP systems and equipment
- Execute circuit interconnections and activation testing, ensuring proper solution performance
- Support the identification and diagnosis of network and system faults
- Collaborate in troubleshooting and fault resolution with Supervisory teams, ensuring SLA compliance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and procedures
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in IP networks and telecommunications, in similar roles
- Knowledge of Routing and Switching equipment (preferably ALU)
- Experience with transmission (TX) technologies such as SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) and WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing)
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about submarine cables (nice to have)
- Good command of MS Office tools
- Experience in testing, measurements, and circuit activation (preferred)
