Job Description

Drives regional external communications, media relations, PR strategy, and executive visibility to strengthen the company’s brand reputation and influence. Leads C‑suite positioning, manages press engagement, and activates local thought leadership programs aligned with business, awareness and marketing objectives.

Core Scope

  • Own external communications planning for the region, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and local market needs.
  • Manage PR, media relations, and local press office activities.
  • Develop and execute C‑suite visibility programs including interviews, speaker slots, bylines, and opinion pieces.
  • Create, adapt, and activate local thought leadership content across channels.
  • Support crisis communications, reputation monitoring, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, vendors, trade media, analysts, and industry associations.
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, talking points, Q&As, and executive briefing documents.
  • Manage PR agencies, ensuring alignment with KPIs, messaging, and campaign priorities.
  • Lead regional reputation monitoring and share-of-voice analysis; track and report media coverage.
  • Coordinate with corporate communications and brand teams to ensure global consistency while tailoring content to regional narratives.
  • Identify opportunities for C‑suite participation in interviews, panels, events, awards, opinion pieces and thought leadership platforms.
  • Develop localised thought leadership assets such as articles, insights, reports, and commentary.
  • Support crisis communications protocols and ensure timely escalation and response.
