Job Description
We are looking for a Telecommunications Network Technician to join one of our clients’ teams, ensuring post‑sales support for Top Corporate and Wholesale customers, with a strong technical focus and a high level of autonomy.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical support for enterprise networks, ensuring the resolution of incident tickets and configuration requests.
- Handling and follow‑up of all tickets escalated by the 1st line support team.
- Remote technical support to field technicians, with a focus on fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Monitoring and maintenance of the team’s shared email mailbox.
- Active collaboration with other technical teams, ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Network Operator or in a similar role within the Telecommunications environment.
- Strong knowledge of Data Networks and Telecommunications Networks.
- Hands-on experience with IP networking (IPv4 and IPv6) and TCP/IP, including protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP, UDP and ICMP.
- Solid skills in Routing & Switching, preferably in Cisco environments.
- Proven experience with GPON – Gigabit Passive Optical Network, as well as access technologies such as ADSL, fixed, mobile and converged networks.
- Technical skills in Telephony, including RDIS, IP Telephony and VoIP.
- Knowledge of Multimedia services, namely VoIP, Video and Codecs.
- CCNA and/or CCNP certifications are a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both with internal teams and clients.
- Strong team spirit and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
- High sense of responsibility, attention to detail and strong customer orientation.
- Availability to work rotating shifts 24/7 (00-8h | 8h-16h | 16h-00h)
