We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join a dynamic Financial Project Management area within an international banking environment. If you enjoy optimizing processes, supporting users, and ensuring smooth coordination across complex portfolios, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
You will play a key role in ensuring consistent project coordination, reliable reporting, and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Support the operational day‑to‑day management (planning, monitoring, reporting)
- Act as a key point of contact for the TAGETIK scope by:
- Providing timely support to users and addressing their application needs
- Organizing and delivering user training
- Tracking IT and administrative incidents and ensuring proper follow‑up
- Managing enhancements and maintenance of reporting tools
- Identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and optimize processes
- Ensuring quality standards across administration and functional evolution of information systems, in partnership with Finance and Risk teams
- Contributing expertise to projects (analysis, acceptance, training, etc.)
- Anticipating project impacts on reporting processes and tools
- Building strong knowledge of users and reporting workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT and/or Financial Project Management.
- Strong experience with relational database administration.
- Functional knowledge of Tagetik (strong plus).
- Solid background in Project Management.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects.
- Strong understanding of finance principles, processes, and reporting concepts.
- Customer‑focused mindset and excellent stakeholder communication.
- Autonomous, proactive, and rigorous approach to delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage evolving priorities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong listening, analytical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
- English: Advanced
- French: Intermediate (plus)
Additional Information
- Occasional travel within or outside Portugal may be required.
- Availability to work outside normal hours in exceptional situations (on‑call, critical issues, etc.)
- Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in PORTO per week
