Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Active Directory Expert to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Active Directory infrastructure. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and related technologies.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Active Directory environments, including domain controllers, forests, and trusts;
  • Implement and manage Group Policies to ensure secure and efficient user and computer management;
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Active Directory services;
  • Perform regular audits and compliance checks to ensure security and best practices are followed;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other related services;
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory with various applications and services;
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Active Directory configurations, processes, and procedures;
  • Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users regarding Active Directory-related issues;
  • Plan and execute Active Directory migrations and upgrades;
  • Ensure disaster recovery and backup solutions are in place and tested regularly;
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Active Directory and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on Windows administration in operations/run;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and supporting Active Directory environments;
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory architecture;
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience with implementing security measures in Active Directory;
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions;
  • Familiarity with other identity management solutions and technologies;
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V;
  • Experience with Group Policy management and implementation;
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, and other network services;
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks;
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or similar (nice to have).
