Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our SharePoint environments. This role requires deep technical knowledge of SharePoint, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Implement and manage SharePoint security policies and permissions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SharePoint with various applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SharePoint configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users regarding SharePoint-related issues.
  • Plan and execute SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to SharePoint and related technologies.
  • Train and mentor junior SharePoint administrators and other IT staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience managing and supporting SharePoint environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and configuration.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or similar are preferred.
