Job Description

The Coordinator, Email Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns, calendar, and select strategic initiatives in support of company and business unit objectives.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Execute on email campaigns from concept brief to deployment by: 
    • Developing creative briefs for email campaigns in the marketing calendar  
    • Managing campaign content, stakeholder reviews and edits, ensuring milestones and interim deadlines are met in order to deploy emails on-time  
    • Perform quality assurance on all emails with the production team to ensure products, content and links are correct to ensure an error free deployment 
  • Manage email performance and reporting by: 
    • Tracking, compiling and analyzing campaign results to ensure campaigns are meeting objectives 
    • Provide recommendations for enhancing effectiveness, improving KPIs, such as open and click rates 
    • Identify opportunities for campaign testing, execute and report on results and provide go forward recommendations  
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in email marketing and share this information with the marketing team 
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes 
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs 
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers 
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them 
  • Provide other support to projects as needed by the digital marketing team 
  • Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in preferably marketing, communications or business 
  • 1+ years of experience in email marketing 
  • Experience in a B2C fast-paced retail / ecommerce environment  
  • Understanding of data driven marketing  
  • Strong command and understanding of email marketing metrics 
  • Very detail oriented with strong analytical, planning and time-management/organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple highly detailed tasks accurately while reacting with urgency and reprioritizing as needed to ensure all objectives and project deadlines are met 
  • Strong communication skills – dealing with stakeholders on a daily basis
