Job Description
Be part of something historic.
The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and polished Project Specialist to join the Campaigns, Operations, and Training team supporting Never Daunted: The Campaign for Indiana University, IU's most ambitious fundraising and engagement campaign to date. This is more than an administrative support role; it's an opportunity to help drive initiatives that will shape the future of fundraising at Indiana University for generations to come. From supporting campaign events and donor engagement to coordinating training for fundraisers across the university, your work will directly contribute to the momentum behind one of the nation's most impactful higher education campaigns. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, enjoy solving problems before they arise, and love bringing order to complexity, you'll find this role both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
The ideal candidate is someone who stays two steps ahead. You'll partner closely with senior leaders, manage complex calendars and priorities, coordinate projects from concept through completion, and create polished presentations, briefing materials, and communications that reflect the professionalism of the Indiana University Foundation. Success in this role requires someone who asks thoughtful questions, anticipates needs before they're voiced, and can confidently take broad direction and turn it into action. Whether you're supporting onboarding for new fundraisers, coordinating campaign roadshows and leadership meetings, researching best practices, or ensuring every detail of an event is flawlessly executed, you'll serve as a trusted partner who keeps projects moving and teams connected.
We're looking for someone who is energized by variety, embraces continuous improvement, and enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the Foundation and university. You'll have the opportunity to influence processes, support strategic initiatives, and play a meaningful role in advancing Indiana University's mission through philanthropy. If you're known for your initiative, exceptional organization, strong communication skills, and ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.
