Job Description

Candidates must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Indiana. This role has the option for a hybrid or flexible work from home schedule after an in-person onboarding. The salary range for this role is $70,000-$85,000.

The Indiana University Foundation seeks a talented individual to join the Systems Infrastructure Team to serve as Systems Administrator!  As a key member of the team, you’ll leverage a broad set of technologies to support Indiana University’s fundraising and alumni relations efforts. In this role, you’ll assist with designing, implementing, and supporting the organization’s technical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include server maintenance and configuration, IIS configuration, and application support for financial and donor/alumni software. You’ll also handle software installation and configuration on locally hosted servers and within applications.

Your work will include installing and configuring software on locally hosted servers and within applications. Successful candidates like you will have experience with Windows Server operating system administration and previous experience working in the technology field. Our department utilizes Microsoft Azure as part of our platform, so your experience with Cloud technology is a big plus. This role will additionally specialize in configuring and managing workstation group policies and deployments through SCCM and Jamf.

Occasional after-hours work may be required as critical situations arise or planned production upgrades occur.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Technical certifications or previous experience as a systems administrator is preferred.
  • Proficiency in engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Cloud technology.
  • Device Management Platforms (PC, MAC)
  • Experience with Microsoft IIS is preferred.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors is preferred.
  • Experience in an MSSQL environment strongly preferred.
