Job Description

The IU Foundation is seeking Accounting and Finance students interested in an immersive hands-on intern position for the summer of 2023

This is a full-time, competitively paid internship opportunity in Bloomington, IN that will run from May 15th - August 4th, 2023.

Working directly with the Senior Director of Portfolio Accounting, the IUF Accounting Intern will learn valuable Project Management skills and will be able to see and impact how IUF’s financial endowment system operates. This position will also work with other members of our Accounting team on various implementation and testing projects. 

This role will also have the opportunity to participate and collaborate with our 2023 development intern cohort to learn how various aspects of a non-profit business functions. We are committed to providing a meaningful learning experience to all of our summer interns!

Qualifications

  • Initiative, drive, and creativity 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once 
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your Qualifications:

  • Rising senior or graduate level student.
  • Interest in non-profits, accounting, and finance fields.
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of various accounting and database systems.
  • High school diploma required
