About the Program:
The IU Foundation is seeking students interested in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for an immersive hands-on intern position for the summer of 2023
This is a full-time, competitively paid internship opportunity in Bloomington, IN that will run from May 15th - August 4th, 2023.
Working directly with the Culture and Inclusion Manager, the intern will learn about the Foundation’s DEI programming and practices and review the messaging with an eye/lens toward DEI. The intern will have the opportunity to explore the use of technology within the space of DEI at the Foundation. This position will also work with other members of our DEI Advisory group on project implementation for Foundation-wide DEI programs!
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a career based in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space. This intern will be able to evaluate and provide feedback on DEI efforts across the Foundation.
This role will also have the opportunity to participate and collaborate with our 2023 development intern cohort to learn how various aspects of non-profit business functions. Qualifications
Your Professional Attributes:
- High level of professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Initiative, drive, and creativity
- Interested in use cases for technology in the DEI space
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Your Qualifications:
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate-level student.
- Interest in DEI programming
- High school diploma required
