Job Description

As a Business Development Manager (IT Recruitment), you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion by identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and promoting our recruitment services within the IT sector. Your role will involve strategic planning, market research, and executing business development initiatives to expand the company's client base and increase revenue streams.

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    • Identify and engage with potential clients in the IT sector, including startups, tech companies, and established enterprises.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or opportunities.
  2. Market Research & Strategy Development:

    • Conduct research on IT industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify business opportunities.
    • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
    • Explore new markets, industries, and regions to expand the company's presence in the IT recruitment domain.
  3. Sales & Revenue Growth:

    • Achieve sales targets by securing new client contracts and expanding the company’s portfolio of IT recruitment services.
    • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients.
    • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with new and existing clients.
  4. Networking & Brand Promotion:

    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and build connections with key decision-makers.
    • Actively promote the company’s IT recruitment services through various channels, including social media, industry forums, and client meetings.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support business development efforts.
  5. Collaboration & Teamwork:

    • Work closely with recruitment teams to understand available talent, trends, and capabilities to align business development strategies with recruitment offerings.
    • Provide feedback to the recruitment team regarding client requirements and expectations to ensure service delivery meets client needs.
    • Collaborate with senior management to set goals, review performance, and adjust business development strategies as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development and sales targets in the recruitment sector.
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, including trends, technologies, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with startups, tech companies, or within IT consulting/recruitment environments.
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes, talent acquisition, and workforce planning in the IT sector.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies to enhance business development initiatives.
