My client is a company specialising in information technology services focuses on services including IT consulting, technical and support services, and managed services.

• Provide support and direction in automation code review sessions
• Develop and maintain UI automation test frameworks best suited for Connected Video
• Develop and maintain API automation test framework and load & performance tools best suited for Connected Video
• Research and POC tools and frameworks to support the testing function and see POCs to implementation
• Work in chosen CICD tool to monitor, troubleshoot and address failures of tests
• Script and execute on load & performance testing initiatives
• Provide guidance to testing on manual and automated test execution
• Maintain high level knowledge of the inner workings of our system in order to effectively provide support to developers and testers
• Work closely with test manager to manage resources, planning and ensuring testing process and procedures are executed accordingly
• Keeping abreast of the bigger picture over and above your immediate team
• Keeping a view of the overall performance of our application and suggest ways of improving key areas
• Maintain a view of supported OS versions for effective regression and compatibility testing
• Monitor production environment using the available tools with a view of noticing potential issues before they impact the customer

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or Equivalent
• ISTQB Intermediate Level Testing certification
• Agile certification
• ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer
• Minimum 7 years’ experience working in testing, preferably 2 in a lead or mentorship position
• 3 years automation testing experience developing regression and sanity tests using open source tools (UI and API)
• 1 year experience with load and performance testing, monitoring and reporting

• Working in a high pressure environment potentially supporting multiple teams with high demands in quality and delivery
• Proven experience creating automation frameworks
• Proven understanding of automation testing fundamentals
• Knowledge of different types of load and performance testing techniques and tools
• Preferred Testing technologies: Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, Karate, Postman, Appium, Groovy, Rest Assured, IntelliJ, Charles Proxy, Gatling, Java, Python
• Intermediate cloud infrastructure knowledge advantageous (AWS)
