Junior Consultants in Operations Strategy

  • Part-time
  • Office: Aarhus

Job Description

We’re currently looking for talented students who are eager to pursue a career in management consulting to join our team in Aarhus, working with operations and supply chain management, starting in the summer or fall of 2026.

What you’ll do
As a junior consultant in operations strategy, you’ll get the opportunity to work on strategic projects in the supply chain sphere – and to explore how advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming operations.

The job will be tailored to your skills and interests, but you must be excited about deepening your knowledge and expertise in operations or supply chain management – and be curious about how AI can reimagine decision-making.

In this role, you’ll learn to apply AI-enabled methods and tools (e.g., demand and inventory models, optimisation, digital twins, and generative AI for research, analysis, and communication) as part of real client work. At Implement, we’re at the forefront of revolutionising operations strategy with a commitment to innovation, sustainability and digital transformation in supply chain management, including responsible, human-centred adoption of AI.

Your tasks will vary, but likely include:

  • Collaborating with a variety of clients – from industry-leading to small and midsize businesses – to analyse and optimise their supply chain operations
  • Developing sustainable supply chain strategies that balance cost, service, resilience, emissions, and data/AI enablement
  • Preparing and assisting in driving digital and AI-enabled supply chain transformations
  • Creating strategic communication and decision-making materials, leveraging generative AI responsibly to accelerate research and insight generation
  • Preparing and conducting presentations and engaging workshops

What you’ll bring
At Implement, we always put people first, and so the most important thing is that you are empathetic and enjoy collaborating with others.

That said, we’re looking for students who have just begun or are about to begin pursuing their master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, strategic management, business management, or a related field, and preferably with excellent results to show for it.

On top of that, the right candidate:

  • Has solid analytical skills and a flair for problem-solving
  • Is able to maintain a holistic view while being nerdy about a specific topic
  • Has great communication skills and is fluent in written and spoken English
  • Wants to become part of the management consulting industry and collaborate in project teams
  • Appreciates a flat organisation where results are more important than hierarchy
  • Is curious about how AI and analytics will transform operations and supply chains

If you’re also flexible and able to work independently under changing conditions, you will fit right in here at Implement.

What we offer

We offer a student job in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial, Scandinavian-based consultancy where you’ll quickly become involved in client projects and work closely with experienced consultants who will help you take your strategic understanding and analytical skills to the next level.

We highly value your professional and personal development, and offer internal training opportunities, keynotes, and workshops for all employees. We work with a high degree of freedom with responsibility, and we support each other in our efforts to constantly become better at helping our clients create exceptional results.

We offer a unique culture, helpful colleagues, and a company striving to redefine the management consulting industry from within.
