Job Description

Behavior Technicians provide 1:1 behavioral intervention programs to children or adults in their homes or within an office type setting and serve as instructional shadows in school settings.

Behavior Technicians must participate in a training program that provides instruction on Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching techniques, management of maladaptive behaviors, social skills development, and data collection techniques applicable to those we support.

Training opportunities continue throughout employment as our Behavior Technician's receive on-going supervision from professional consultants for each individual with whom they work.

Behavior Technicians are required to maintain accurate and timely records including timesheets and reports. 

Qualifications

Must have a minimum experience of 1 year working with children with special needs or disabilities and challenging behaviors.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Behavior Analysis or related Human Services field.  800 hours of course work related to psychology, child development, learning theory, postive behaivor support, beahvior analysis and dual diagnosis.


Available between the times of 2:00 to 7:00pm Monday through Friday.

Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance.

No past criminal history, must pass tuberculosis test.
