Busy metals mill in the Western Tennessee area needs a Mechanical Engineer/Maintenance Engineer to identify improvements in a metals scrap operation. This is a large scale metals shredding, scrap processing operation. The equipment used is similar to that used in mining.

To qualify, you should have experience with large capital equipment. I am advertising in your area to locate people interested in moving East. Relocation assistance is available.

• Design or develop new or alterations to existing structures, systems, and equipment.
• Provide timely and accurate cost estimates on proposed improvements.
• Support and participate in CAPEX projects.      
• Participate and contribute to the achievement of department goals including goal setting

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business administration, or related field  - or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree is preferred but not a must.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in maintenance of equipment used in mining, primary metal making or metal scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, or other heavy manufacturing/processing.
• Some supervisory experience.
