Prestigious manufacturing company with 350 employees, located in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area, needs a Training and Development Specialist. Relocation assistance is available.

With your strong background working at a manufacturing company, you will handle full cycle training and development of hourly workers. This will include:

· Training needs assessment for hourly workers

· Design and face-to-face delivery of training programs, which include participant manuals, simulations, role playing

· Monitor training costs, develop a training budget with justifications for expenses

· Onboard new employees and acquaint them with the training process

· Document and track training efforts. Monitor training effectiveness through discussions with management.

· Research and supply outside experts

· Support training for salary positions through local college/university programs for Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business preferred or equivalent years of related experience).

· PHR or SPHR certification preferred

· 3-5 years prior demonstrated training experience required

· Training in a manufacturing setting is a must
