Employee Relations Specialist (Human Resources) needed to work days at a non-union manufacturing company, commutable from East Memphis.  Will maintain a positive employee relations environment, develop award systems, and develop inclusion or diversity activities.

• Develop and administer employee relations policies and procedures.

• Develop strategies that resolve employee issues and minimize expected problems.

• Ensure that all employee matters are handled with a consistent and focused approach that is aligned with company vision and values

• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues

• Advise and influence all levels of management, including floor supervisors regarding employee relations decisions.

   

   

   

   

BS degree in is required, plus at least 2-5 years of employee relations experience in a non-union manufacturing environment. Must be a polished Human Resources professional, with refined interpersonal and organizational skills. PHR or SPHR preferred, but not a replacement for BS degree. Familiarity with HR software like ADP, Kronos, and with plant-wide software like SAP or Oracle are pluses. Relocation assistance is available.
