WHY HEROES TO HEALTHCARE?
Challenge: On average, 11,000 ‘healthcare experienced veterans’ are separating from the military annually and facing significant challenges in finding meaningful employment in the healthcare industry. On the other hand, the healthcare industry is one of the fastest growing sectors with the highest demand for talent and facing many systemic challenges of its own. It’s time to turn these two sets of challenges into opportunity for both our veterans and the healthcare industry.
Opportunity: With many years of veteran development and career placement experience, ImPowerQ Associates are proud leaders in launching the Heroes to Healthcare (H2H) mission as part of our Veterans Integration Program (VIP). H2H aims to provide healthcare experienced veterans with the bridge to productive and meaningful careers while providing healthcare organizations high-quality talent.
WHAT IS THE ‘HEROES TO HEALTHCARE’ VIP?
Thanks to the support of leading healthcare companies, the US Department of Labor and great veterans wanting to pay it forward, H2H launched as a Registered Apprenticeship Program approved by The US Department of Labor.
