You will help lead the re-factoring of the front-end from Flux to Redux. Your input in the design will be critical and you will provide thought leadership on the overall architecture.
Additionally, you will lead and participate in the design and implementation of the web-services layer to create a stable application. You will be part of choosing a dozen tools and work with Node and the back-end team on the platform using Nginx/HAProxy, React, and RESTful APIs.
Lastly, if you bring experience in networking, security, virtualization or cloud services you will be able to contribute on a broader and more in depth manner.
The Front-end team is growing and focuses on solving tough engineering problems in a scalable, usable web application that helps people understand and secure complex distributed applications.
We feel the skills and traits you would need to be successful at a minimum are:
Experience developing performant Single Page Applications using REST and browser APIs.
Passionate about your craft - keeping current with the evolving front-end ecosystem.
Ability to do self-directed work in a dynamic environment
Leadership experience: ability to build consensus; good communication/mentoring skills.
