Job Description

Your new role and how you’ll make a difference

As the key member of the Mortgages Go-To-Market Team, the Senior Account Director is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic, commercial engagements to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.

 

This senior client lead role builds strategic, senior relationships and partners with the customer (and in the case of aggregators, their members) and the illion pre-sales team to deliver innovative solutions that deliver value and grow wallet share.

 

With a raft of service contracts extended recently, growth will come from increasing uptake of the services contracted plus new business and will be a mix of any or all available products and services. The objective of the role is to increase the value of the accounts in terms of sales, quality service and revenue and promote illion’s full suite of solutions.

Qualifications

The value-add things you’ll be doing

  • Maintain, develop and grow a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Building strong and diverse executive level relationships across client organisations and navigate client structures to identify relevant influencers and decision makers.
  • Drive accelerated revenue growth by identifying potential markets for new and existing products and services by focusing on services with high revenue and fast implementation.
  • Renew customers whose agreements are pending and own retention timing to renew existing services successfully
  • Sell illion’s Product Suite to new customers based on a performance target and increase customer usage over the previous year based on performance target.
  • Service and educate new and existing customers/users to ensure satisfaction, strengthened relationships and increased opportunity
  • Look for opportunities to develop partnerships or explore creative approaches to new business where there are industry synergies or vertical specialties
  • Understand customer preferences, pricing, product, terms and conditions to ensure that their requirements are met; gather and analyse data regarding competitor pricing and products and ensure that illion products and services fit customer requirements

 

The experience and qualifications you’ll need to be successful

  • Experience in solutions selling - managing large, strategic accounts
  • Significant industry knowledge in the Mortgages/Financial Services sector
  • An understanding of corporate governance in complex organisations
  • Proactive, self-motivated, ability to work independently, prepared to cold-call
  • Experience identifying customer requirements and developing creative and innovative customer-centric solutions
  • Track record of new business development and customer growth
