About job:

• Present information and effectively communicate with divisions and cross-functionally. Orally present findings to team and management.
• Work with internal customers to identify opportunities for process, product, safety, environmental, losses, and facility improvements.
• Provide engineering and technical expertise to Vancive Medical Technologies production facilities in order to improve plant safety, increase productivity, decrease losses, improve quality, and support new product development. Use Six Sigma principles to successfully complete projects.
• Lead and participate in process improvement projects to improve critical process parameters, and create stable and repetitive processes.
• Create/update drawings, documentation, and operational procedures as needed.
• Perform and participate in risk analysis activities (FMEA, PSSR, MOC, etc.) as required to support project work.
• Participate in the validation processes (IQ, OQ & PQ).
• Act as technology expert in applicable manufacturing environment.
• Lead and conduct problem solving efforts and propose resolutions (Deviations, CAPA).
• Provide recommendations for capital purchases.
• Support new product development activities as needed.
• Share knowledge across departments.
• Understand and ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR part 820 regulations.
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances as required

About you:

• Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related education is required.
• 0-5 years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with statistical analysis, process controls, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and MSE.
• Problem solving, decision analysis, and situation appraisal skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Ability to influence others and work across functions.
• Approachable, effective in giving/receiving feedback.
• Ability to work under general direction.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong PC skills – MS Office, MINITAB, AutoCAD, AS400, QSI and QIS experience is a plus.
• Previous Six Sigma exposure/experience. Green Belt / Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Controls, instrumentation, and PLC knowledge is preferred.
