Job Description

  • You will be the “face of HR” and as such a person of trust for the local employees
  • Work hands-on in day to day HR operations
  • Implement key talent management initiatives i.e.  performance management, promotions, competency development, succession planning, rewards & recognition, career planning, etc.
  • Create mechanisms to increase employee participation in Employee Satisfaction Survey and measuring the Employee Satisfaction Index for the accounts owned and responsible for preparation and timely closure of action plan from the survey
  • Contribute to the positioning of IKEA as an attractive place to work and the preferred employer in the relevant market for every function by gaining and applying relevant insights
  • Monitor and analyse the staff fluctuation, recommend and ensure implementation of employee retention initiatives
  • Contribute to staff cost budget compliance, help to secure a diverse, appropriate staff structure and support the defined business and productivity goals
  • Conduct best practices research and analysis of current practices
  • Ensures compliance to all internal and external processes and regulation/compliance requirements
  • Provides timely support to the business leadership on various people management issues

Qualifications

  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience (HR Generalist in industrial sector) and you are fluent in English. 
  • You have at least bachelor degree in economics/law/human studies. 
  • You can work independently and you are able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms including the ability to explain HR processes, policies and benefits. 
  • You are willing to travel and you have driving license “B”. Work experience in a multinational company is welcomed.
