Job Description
We want to fill this position with an inspiring and business-minded marketing professional who can support us in securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”.
- Support in tasks related to advertising (offline and online display): production of and ensuring communication materials are in line with IKEA Concept while having optimal reach / frequency spends across platforms.
- Support in tasks related to PR (e.g. media launch, collection press kits pricing, etc.) and events (e.g. Media events), coordinate with PR agency and undertake ad-hoc assignments.
- Assist in partner collaborations, campaign related events.
- Work closely with other functions to ensure accuracy of products and information to achieve business goals drive visits, increase home furnishing interest and elevate brand awareness.
- Support all media product loans and information as required.
- Support to keep to the planned marketing budget and commercial calendar and to track accurate expensing of above responsibilities on a monthly basis. Issue Purchase Orders and share the approved POs with agencies and third-party vendors for billing purposes.
- Contribute to the development and production of brochures.
Qualifications
- You have minimum 2 years of experience in marketing communication (offline, online and PR) especially in production of advertising material & PR.
- You have worked with media planning and understand the specifications and requirements for a correct and timely submission.
- You have strong multi-tasking skill to work in a fast-moving environment and excellent in meeting tight deadlines and in managing different publishing schedules.
- You have worked in communications supporting product or retail launches.
- You have supported corporate and commercial public relations launches and events (contacts with journalists and follow-up).
- You are self-motivated with a passion in marketing and communications to drive results with consistent messaging and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
This is a temporary employment opportunity for one year (12 months).
