Job Description

Purpose of the job 

  • Create and constantly improve excellent goods availability with healthy stock structure, range management and accurate forecasting at the lowest possible cost.
  • Synchronize with commercial needs and activities for the best goods availability, ensuring goods arrive timely for commercial execution.
  • Work with Sales and Supply Support Manager to support the commercial team and work as a communication link between the store and the Country Supply & Availability team. 

Responsibilities 

  • Reporting to the SSS Manager, you monitor in-store Logistics IT-systems in realizing optimal stock control.
  • Work in partnership with the store commercial team to secure the highest possible goods availability for launches, country & local activities as well as excellent customer perceived availability - everyday.

  • Act as the main contact partner in the store for all range administration and operational supply related questions for the store commercial team and Country Supply Availability team. Secure an efficient and precise range management process for the store.

  • Maximise successful store replenishment by driving the actions of forecasting and ordering to ensure they are align with the commercial calendar and within the store capacity.

  • Produce necessary follow-ups for the commercial and management team regarding operational processes in the store, including forecast accuracy, phasing in and out, overstock and concrete, activities and non-central shortages. 

  • Contribute to stock accuracy by supporting the Goods Flow Manager with the stock discrepancies analysis as part of the inventory management process.

  • Work with the agreed global and local Key Performance Indicators, focusing particularly on achieving high goods availability at the lowest total cost.

  • Work in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety & security and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge on shelf availability (OSA) is, how it is measured and what is the goal.
  • Knowledge on stock accuracy contributes to the customer shopping experience and how to contribute to this process.
  • Prioritize and organize individual work duties, to make the most efficient use of the time available.
  • Flexible approach to the daily tasks and can adapt to unpredictable situations when they arise and open to new ideas and changes in ways of working.
  • Well experience in Supply Chain ordering and working with lead time (forecasting).
  • Possessed minimum of intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Interested with retail industry and home finishing.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
