Job Description

The Country IT Operations Manager role is responsible to lead the day-to-day IT operations for one or more countries within Ikano Retail markets, supporting the business with the right tools at the right time and place.

 The IT Operations Manager contributes to the long-term business growth by carrying the following responsibilities:

  • Lead (oversee) the day-to-day IT operations with a customer and co-worker-first mind-set, performance-based (KPI) steering and clear SLA’s.
  • With the team, provide level 1 user support across markets (eg, EUC, routine tasks), in accordance with agreed SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain service-oriented goals and operating procedures that are consistent across Ikano Retail markets.
  • Maintain Service Level Agreements for IT operations, response times, vendor management and performance.
  • Manage operational budgets, expense tracking incl. recurring forecasting.
  • Manage and operate IT assets (integrity, security and privacy) and maintain a Business Recovery Plan to ensure timely restoration of services in accordance to policies and standards.
  • Plan, lead and implement IT initiatives and pro-actively enhance IT capabilities.
  • Support compliance of enterprise environment, incl. auditor support and risk-mitigation.
  • Contribute to the overall digital direction and adoption of digital technologies across the business, supporting projects and new ways of working.
  • Work closely, and partner, with business partners, stakeholders, IT, external vendors, developing long-term relationship and excellent support.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about service management, with user experience top of mind.
  • Broad understanding of IT operations, through having at least 5 years of experience in an IT service management environment.
  • Experience in working with an enterprise IT setup, incl. budget control and multi-vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT support processes, such as ITIL and DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of IKEA IT landscape elements, such as applications, infrastructure and hardware.
  • Understanding of new service management trends, and how it would benefit the business.
  • Able to develop teams and individuals across a range of specialists and geographical locations.
