Job Description

We are seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in Warsaw, Poland. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with International accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to secure and green energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Recording and posting accounting documents in the accounting system;
  • Posting purchases invoices, issuing sales invoices and credit notes in accordance with company policies and tax regulations;
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements;
  • Processing and posting bank statements;
  • Monitoring outstanding receivables and payables and payment processes (including the generation of payments from the accounting system);
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes;
  • Preparing VAT, CIT and other tax-related data and supporting tax reporting;
  • Participate in preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and Polish accounting standards;
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance;
  • Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience;
  • Proficiency in accounting software. Experience with MS Dynamics would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Polish accounting standards;
  • Familiarity with Polish tax regulations and reporting requirements;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken).
