We're looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join our Data Governance Unit within the Digital Solutions and Data Management Department. In this role, you'll lead one of our data analytics teams, drive the delivery of high-quality analytical solutions, and work closely with business stakeholders to transform data into better decisions.

- Leading the backlog of one of our data analytics teams, setting priorities, planning delivery, and managing scope, dependencies, and risks
- Guiding the team through complex technical and analytical challenges, providing expertise and direction where it matters most.
- Driving the quality of analytical solutions by establishing standards, promoting best practices in data modelling, and ensuring effective review and QA processes
- Partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into impactful analytical solutions and technical requirements
- Supporting the growth of the team by fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration, and consistent analytical practices
- Working closely with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to proactively manage risks, dependencies, and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Business Intelligence
- At least 2 years of experience leading the technical direction of an analytics team, managing a backlog, and prioritizing work
- Ability to lead a team and independently solve highly complex analytical challenges
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI (DAX), and Python
- Deep understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and analytical solution design
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH), data pipelines, semantic modeling, and cloud principles
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to plan work, estimate scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience ensuring analytical solution quality through reviews, QA practices, data quality standards, and KPI logic consistency
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Experience developing and mentoring analytics team capabilities
- Experience with formal people management
- Practical experience applying Agile and Scrum principles
- Experience working with analytics standards, governance frameworks, or function-wide methodologies
