Job Description

We are looking for a colleague to join Ignitis Group as the Head of Group Project Portfolio and Project Management. In this role, you will work closely with Group companies and key stakeholders across the organization to orchestrate and drive enterprise‑level strategy execution. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by: 

  • Orchestrating and driving enterprise level strategy execution by leading Ignitis Group’s (Group) strategic initiatives, projects, and programs portfolio, ensuring strong alignment with strategic priorities and coordinating delivery across the organization
  • Leading Group Project Portfolio and Project Management function, with your team providing shared-services project management supporting to the Group’s companies
  • Providing Group level governance and oversight of complex and infrastructure projects by applying international standards (such as FIDIC) across the Group’s strategic launches
  • Driving the evolution of the Group’s project and program management by introducing modern methodologies and best practices
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders beyond traditional project structures to foster strong cross functional collaboration and enable effective change management and enterprise level strategy execution
  • Enabling effective change across the organization by supporting leaders with guidance and training, embedding change management and people centric practices into enterprise initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in IT, business administration, economics, finance, engineering or similar 
  • 5 years of experience while managing complex and global corporate projects, transformations (e.g. infrastructure projects) 
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and change management, combined with an active interest in emerging and modern project management practices 
  • Experience leading IT systems implementations and digital / AI driven transformations (e.g., process automation, data & analytics, AI use-case delivery), in close partnership with business and IT stakeholders.

Leadership & strategic thinking: 

  • Strong people leadership and managerial skills, including building and developing teams, coaching, performance management, and leading through influence in a matrix / dotted-line environment 
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, evaluate options, and make sound recommendations 
  • Highly effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to quickly build collaborative working relationships 
  • Proficiency with PMO and project delivery tools (e.g., Jira) and AI-enabled data analytics / reporting tools, with the ability to translate data into insights and make data-driven decisions.
