Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Control Room Office oat Ignitis Renewables. In this role, you will be responsible for real-time monitoring, management, and optimization of commercial dispatch operations for renewable energy assets. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Managing and optimizing real-time commercial dispatch of renewable energy assets (wind, solar, BESS) to maximize portfolio value
- Monitoring electricity and balancing markets, responding quickly to system signals, alarms, and market changes
- Ensuring compliance with market regulations, including REMIT and other transparency requirements
- Analyzing operational and market data, preparing reports to support performance and decision-making
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant operations
Qualifications
- Education in energy, engineering, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of electricity market principles, balancing markets, and regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of power systems and renewable energy asset operations
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to make timely decisions
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment
Would be an advantage:
- In-depth understanding of the differences between on-premise and cloud-based SaaS systems.
