Job Description

We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and support the Engineering package in the onshore and landfall sections of our offshore wind farm projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to interface with various stakeholders, including local regulatory bodies. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Planning and managing geotechnical survey works, ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets
  • Coordinating with survey contractors and ensuring high-quality data collection and reporting
  • Assisting with local permitting requirements, including preparing and submitting documentation to the Lithuanian Geological Survey and other relevant institutions
  • Providing geotechnical inputs to the onshore packages and support the offshore geotechnical engineer as needed
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring timely and clear communication of geotechnical information to relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting the package managers with contractor's ground-related non-conformance evaluations during project execution and assisting in finding a mutually acceptable solution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in geotechnical engineering. Experience within energy sector or infrastructure development field would be considered as advantage
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, analysis methods
  • Familiarity with local permitting processes and experience interfacing with regulatory bodies
  • Self-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian; working English proficiency.
