Job Description

We are seeking a new colleague to join the professional, active, and courageous Offshore team at Ignitis Renewables. We value openness, partnership is our strength, and responsibility makes us a great team. If all this speaks to you, we would like to invite you to join us.  

Your key areas of responsibilities will be:  

  • Provide support to offshore environmental and permitting project managers
  • Collaborate with offshore environmental and permitting project managers and external consultants to create information base of the offshore best practices
  • Assist to improve processes within the organization and initiate the improvements
  • Assist in identifying gaps in documentation, or potential areas of non-compliance, and suggests resolutions
  • Monitor international standards and best practices impacting the offshore project implementation
  • Support and manage meetings with government agencies on environmental matters relevant to the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience in renewable energy field would be an advantage
  • Have a basic understanding of environmental area, including but not limited to climate change, biodiversity and ecosystems, and other
  • Have a basic knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS or similar tools
  • Have IT literacy knowledge – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
  • Are an eager learner, analytical, attentive to details, willing to learn and show initiative
  • Have good oral and written communication skills in English language.
