About the role:

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, Advocacy & Partner Marketing Programs, the Global Marketing Manager, Advocacy & Referrals will be responsible for driving Ignition’s advocacy initiatives and expanding the referral program to new heights. The Global Marketing Manager, Advocacy & Referrals will work closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing to generate demand in priority markets and expand into new verticals.

This is a 14-month, full-time contract role as a maternity leave cover, with the potential to go permanent or have the contract extended contingent on company growth. Our aim is to have you join the team in January 2025. You will be a key member of the global marketing team and work collaboratively with our regional teams based in Australia, Canada and the USA.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Develop and manage Ignition’s Advocacy Program, with a strong emphasis on APAC growth. This includes initiating, building, and nurturing advocate relationships to support marketing activities across current and new verticals to new customer acquisition.
  • Represent Ignition within key association, partnership and ecosystem communities as needed to build brand credibility and connections.
  • Oversee Ignition’s case study and testimonial program, ensuring a robust pipeline of compelling customer stories to drive prospect consideration and conversion. Also help source speakers as needed for demand generation programs (ie- webinars, videos, etc). 
  • Source, manage, and execute new marketing partnerships within the APAC region as needed.
  • Track and optimize advocacy program performance, making data-driven adjustments to maximize effectiveness.
  • Lead and expand Ignition’s global referral program to drive sustainable growth.
  • Manage and execute  the monthly customer newsletter
  • Manage relationships and platforms for marketing initiatives, including Partnerstack for paid referral programs.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of new monthly third party reviews and testimonials.

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in Advocacy, Referral Marketing or Partnership Marketing: preferred 5 years of experience within either partnerships, advocacy, referral, or community marketing within a SaaS or technology-driven environment, with a proven track record of building and scaling advocacy and referral programs.
  • Strategic Program Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multiple marketing programs that drive demand and expand brand presence in multiple markets, specifically within the APAC region.
  • Relationship Building and Partner Management: Strong interpersonal skills and experience building and nurturing relationships with advocates, partners, and stakeholders in association, ecosystem, and community spaces.
  • Content Development Expertise: Proven ability to manage case study and testimonial programs, including sourcing and developing compelling customer stories that drive brand credibility and support demand generation.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Proficiency in tracking and analyzing program performance metrics to inform strategic adjustments and drive continuous improvement. Experience with tools such as Partnerstack or similar platforms for referral program management is a plus.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, coupled with excellent storytelling skills to drive engagement through various communication channels.
