Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to expand our market coverage and boost our sales pipeline. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, building your own prospects lists, and meeting key success metrics. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential customers, from first contact until you qualify a sales opportunity. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Proactively seek new sales opportunities in the market
Identify prospect needs and understand their business drivers
Present our solution to prospects following a high-touch, high-value selling approach
Set up calls, meetings, or demos between potential clients and Account Executives
Report to the Director of Business Development on daily/weekly/monthly sales results
Stay up-to-date with HR news, trends, technologies, and related topics
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Representative, Account Executive, or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of meeting targets and achieving sales quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Experience selling to HR is a plus
