Technical Skillset:

• Identify and resolve complex network problems

• Knowledge of network hardware and software; switching and routing configuration and troubleshooting; firewall configuration and protocols; infrastructure and design, topologies and protocols. 

• Knowledge on Cisco router and switch hardware and software platforms

• Knowledge on Nexus platforms (including but not limited to 9K, 7K, 5K)

• Monitor and tune network and system performance

• Monitor the operation of the network to ensure proper functioning of circuits, hardware and software.

• Participate with vendors and common carriers during problem analysis/resolution as required.

• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for the network, technical specifications and documents, drawings and system documentation, and operating manuals.
