IVADO Labs is an AI-powered startup located in Montreal at the heart of one of the fastest growing AI community in the world. To achieve this, we provide data science, operations research and artificial intelligence solutions and software products to a broad range of industry and technology partners.

You will collaborate with our world-renowned Scientific Advisors, CTO and development team to design and implement enterprise-grade AI/data science, operations research and optimization solutions to solve real-world business problems.

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with the client and the product management team to clearly define the problem and desired objectives

• Design the AI/data science model architecture, drawing from a host of modelling techniques and methods to ensure the right fit to the specific problem

• Implement and unit test concept versions of the AI/data science models as per design specification

• Advise the development team on implementing production-grade version of the AI/data science models

• Support the development of KPIs (key performance indicators) to determine model performance post deployment

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• At least 3 years of work experience designing and implementing AI/data science algorithms/systems in a variety of business situations uncovering critical insights and driving to concrete business outcomes for a technology/strategy/management consulting firm.

• At least 3 years of experience interacting with clients at the mid-manager level or higher.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• Experience implementing AI/data science algorithms using one or more of the modern programming languages/frameworks (e.g., Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Scala, Keras, Gulon, Caffe, MxNet, optimizers such as CPLEX or Gurobi, etc.).

• Experience developing solutions for supply chain or other operational function preferred

• Understanding of development and service delivery/management frameworks (e.g., DevOps, Agile, SRE, ITIL, etc.)
• Experience developing digital solution concepts and solutions using design thinking/ideation techniques
