Job Description
Summary
- You will support the R&D/QC department.
- You will prepare and update MSDS of blends, to comply with safety data sheet obligations (REACH/CLP) and to ensure a safe use of our products.
- You will also take care of the lab equipment and other QC processes.
Responsibilities
- Co-develop new products according to customer needs, specifications and business strategy.
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate trials and experiments for product development and quality assessment.
- Comparative study of competitor products.
- Provide and review SDS against REACH/CLP requirements with Lisam software.
- Quality Assurance of products manufactured and raw materials.
- Evaluate new raw materials or alternative suppliers.
- Maintenance, calibration and verification of lab equipment. Recognize, correct and report deviations of test equipment.
- Registration and examination of possible complaints.
- Completion of other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- You have a bachelor's degree in chemistry.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Safety first attitude.
- You speak and write fluently Dutch and English. Knowledge French is a plus.
- Hands-on.
- Showing initiative.
- You work most accurately and have an eye for detail
- You can easily navigate with Office applications, such as Word, Excel, etc. and with Exess.
- Following strict procedures and working accurately and orderly is your thing.
- Setting priorities without losing sight of deadlines.
- Familiarity with one or more analytical chemistry techniques (e.g., IR, gas chromatography, viscosity, density, etc.) preferred.
- Understanding of Regulatory Requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with all levels within the organization.
