Additives International, one of 80+ business units owned by of ITW, manufactures and supplies specialty and innovative chemicals for the automotive aftermarket. Additives International manufactures products in Spain and Belgium, and commercializes around the globe serving markets in Europe, Middle East, Russia, Asia and Africa.

Job Description

The Technical Manager will be responsible for all aspects related to technical support for the Division Additives International. Provide knowledge and technical support to all users, sales agents, managers or ITW personnel related to the Division's range of multi branded additives.

Qualifications

  • Provide technical advice to the customer portfolio (spare parts stores and workshops) and within the company.
  • Technical support to our sales network.
  • Resolution of queries or complaints from customers, including cause analysis and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Technical presentations and demonstrations of products to the client portfolio and to potential clients.
  • Support for the sale of additives in workshops and spare parts stores.
  • Give training and technical presentations to the sales network and the distribution network of our customers.
  • Develop standard training programs and e learning courses and keep training packages up-to-date.
  • Carry out bench and or car product testing and evaluation and report findings.
  • Formulate technical recommendations, bulletins, and technical tips to be used by the sales team and marketing.
  • Preparing standardized reports of visits.

Additional Information

  • Necessary technical training: higher education FP2 in Automotive or Mechanical or higher education.
  • Experience in car mechanics, performing functions such as mechanic, workshop manager or similar.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical repair with good understanding of vehicle diagnostic equipment.
  • It is advisable to have experience in the sale of additives and / or automotive products for vehicle workshops.
  • Absolute availability to travel throughout Europe.
  • Fluent in Dutch & English.
  • Good level of German and French.
