Job Description

Candidate must have good industrial maintenance experience and background.    Candidate will work with other maintenance personnel, and require extensive technical knowledge of demonstrated troubleshooting and repair abilities on all aspects of industrial machinery and safety related projects.  Candidate is willing to attend training classes to further education.  Candidate must also be willing to work overtime as needed.  This job supports Piqua, Troy and KC located in Ohio

Qualifications

Must have good interpersonal skills, be a team player and a self-starter who can work with little or no supervision. Good people interaction skills needed to work with operators, engineers, and other non-technical personnel.

  • Three or more years of experience working with industrial electrical and electronics.

• Experience with AC motors and the drives and circuits which power them.  Ability to do

  electronic drive start-up, commissioning, tuning, and parameterization.

• Ability to perform programming for PLCs and HMIs.  There is a need for new

  programming and modification of existing programs in a variety of PLCs.

• Proficient with AC and DC control circuits, sensors, switches, relays, timers, and

  fusing.

• Familiarity with Windows based computers and their use for programming drives,

  PLCs, and other control devices.

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and draw CAD electrical schematics.

• A mechanical aptitude for evaluating machinery and systems.

• Good trouble shooting skills and experience.  This requires logical thinking and an

  ability to analyze cause and effect situations to arrive at problems and solutions.

•  Capacity to address several issues or problems simultaneously.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematic functions.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and reference check.

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.  Must be able to stoop, kneel, and

  bend to repair equipment.

• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment including but not limited to safety

  glasses, ear plugs, steel toed shoes and gloves.

• Must possess a minimum of an Associates degree in Electronics.
