Work closely with the Supply Chain team on solving day-to-day issues, updating systems and reports. The correct candidate will have experience in office environment managing general admin work
Job Description
In order to strengthen the UK Supply Chain team we are looking for an admin resource. The right candidate has experience with ERP systems, excel and general purchasing tasks.
Key tasks
- Placing orders for steel and “bought-in-finished” parts – We should cover
- Communication with suppliers on delivery dates
- Update PO delivery dates in ERP system
- Update MRD reports using excel extracts – We team should cover
- Communicating delivery plans to internal stakeholders
- General ad hoc admin work to assist Purchaser
- Update backorder reports
Other tasks/projects
- Process Spares & data input
- Backorder reporting daily within UK team & suppliers
- Daily/ weekly excel task creation
- Repack creation
- UPS / Carrier queries doc archive
- Customer Service queries (Stock, due etc)
- All other Adhoc / Admin tasks
- Communication with 3PL warehouse (DB Schenker)
- System integrity on stock alignment with 3PL warehouse
Qualifications
- Experience within a purchasing/procurement/logistics role
- Experience of working with suppliers, customers and external partners
- Able to analyse and use data effectively
- IT Literate and experienced in the use of IT systems to enhance performance (excel, power point, ERP etc.)
- Collaborative with strong team working skills
