Job Description

Summer 2025

  • Work with development engineers to learn basic alloy design of metal cored and flux cored wires and to conduct studies & tests for internal validation
  • Will be trained to operate welding and test equipment as needed.  Ability to conduct tests and validate with hands-on welding can be expected
  • Intern will work with cross functional internal team members including engineers, technicians, and marketing personnel

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, Welding Engineering or related Engineering field
    • Must be classified as a Junior or Senior for 2024-2025 academic year
    • Open to MS candidates in similar fields
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Comfortability working in teams
  • Strong prioritization & organization skills (80/20!)
