Job Description

This position is based out of the North Central/Western Great Lakes region, serving WI, IL, MN, ND, SD, IA, and Northern MO.

As the Welding Safety Solutions Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safety and empowering our customers. Your knowledge in welding safety, equipment, and processes will be essential in supporting our strategic end user accounts.

You'll collaborate closely with our sales team, offering technical support to help them win business and present innovative safety solutions to our valued customers.

What You’ll Do and Impact

  • Become the Subject Matter Expert driving welding safety enhancements, using your process, product, and technical expertise to seize safety sales opportunities. You'll be responsible for providing welding safety expertise, defending and growing business with strategic end user accounts.
  • As you manage your territory, prioritize efforts and resources by identifying the vital factors that lead to the best results. Develop and execute data-driven sales strategies, focusing on profitable sales growth in your region.
  • Collaborate with sales and divisional teams to convert and earn end user business, using a consultative, value-based approach. Lead customer-centered discussions throughout the Key Account Sales Process.
  • Your communication skills will shine as you keep sales leaders, regional teams, distributors, and key end users informed of key activities. Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring trends and competitive activity in the region.
  • Your success will be measured by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives. Impress customers and distributors with effective product demos.
  • Keep track of opportunities and end user account information using CRM tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Minimum three years of respiratory and safety sales experience

  • Must possess technical aptitude & manufacturing process knowledge
  • Excellent sales/negotiation, customer service & listening skills
  • Excellent business planning skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, organizational, follow up, and planning skills.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, aggressive, a good team player, and possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow through to completion.
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 50%.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and CRM systems.
