StampTech Fasteners TM Division Description:

The ITW StampTech Fastener Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market.  The division supplies stamped metal fasteners and engineered fastener assemblies that leverage our deep-draw stamping technologies.  The annual revenue for the division is approximately $160M.  Locations include Gallatin, TN, Lexington, KY & Naugatuck, CT.

Job Description

Partners closely with plant and front-line leadership to drive culture transformation and support growth initiatives. Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to employee relations, compensation & benefits administration, talent acquisition, ensuring accuracy for the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), talent development, performance management, and compliance with all state and federal laws. This position will work with the Lexington, KY facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultative and trusted advisor to leadership by providing business results and delivering measurable and sustained value- added solutions
  • Work closely with employees and managers of the business to build credible relationships allowing for better decisions and organizational effectiveness. Analyze repetitive HR-related processes as well as opportunities for improvement; make recommendations for permanent solutions that support people and operational goals
  • Develop reward and recognition programs that effectively drive engagement within the business 
  • Working knowledge of the employee life cycle - creates a positive first experience of the company and serves as a role model
  • Manage divisional projects as directed by the HRM and /or Director of Human Resources
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant. Plays an active role in the development of the Affirmative Action Plan within business units. 
  • Inputs and ensures accuracy of all employee data in the HRIS system such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for reporting.  Prepares regular or special reports using HRIS for both locations
  • Reviews existing human resources policies and procedures within the business units for which they are responsible, and initiates changes as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies, and business objectives
  • Serve as a coach for management to help develop and advise coaching strategies for employees to assist with talent management
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with managers and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, credibility, and successful hiring practices
  • All other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or current relevant human resources experience with manufacturing environment being preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms          
  • Competency in of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (MS Office) and the ability to use these platforms to analyze and format data
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Effectively communicate in a professional demeanor when dealing with the public or any level of employees
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP or equivalent preferred

The employee could be exposed to extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Safety toed with slip resistant shoes, safety glasses and earplugs are required on the plant floor
