Job Description

Goal of position:

To manage a team of export sales managers who partner with our international distributors in Loma’s non-direct global markets, with the aim of achieving and exceeding sales targets. You will undertake market analysis, develop sales strategies and gain buy-in within and outside of the team to deliver against these.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to deliver through your team, responsible for revenue generation across Loma’s international distribution network.
  • Work closely with the Distribution Partners on major opportunities or key accounts, to form strong long-term partnerships.
  • Partner with key customers and industry influencers such as retailers, to understand their business needs, and  share these with R&D to support market driven product development.
  • You will provide market intelligence and distributor insight to help inform growth strategies and price points. Developing and delivering a credible sales strategy, in order to meet sales and profitability targets aligned to overall company goals.
  • Build relationships with key distribution networks, continuously monitor distributor performance and where necessary identify new distributors.  
  • Continuously search for opportunities for continuous improvements in the way
  • Loma operates with our distribution network and internally.
  • Establish a results-oriented management style that measures and evaluates individual performance against clearly defined accountable competencies, responsibilities, and objectives. Recruiting, onboarding, and training export and OEM sales managers. Developing key talent where it is identified.

 

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Significant experience in leading, engaging and galvanising a sales team. You should have experience managing and delivering through others.
    • High drive and resilience. You should have a track record of exceeding targets. Ability to apply the 80/20 principle and all other ITW toolbox standards / initiatives to the business, ensuring the efficiency of the sales team is prioritised and continuously growing.
    • Take a trusted Advisor approach to customer interactions, delivering a high-quality trusted service to our customers and distribution partners.  
    • Financially literate, able to analyse financial data to make decisions. Taking a balanced view between customer requirements and business needs.
    • Experience in Capital Equipment sales and working with distribution partners.
    • Ability to understand company sales tools including design guides for Metal Detectors, Checkweighers and X-Ray equipment and the associated technical applications.
    • Excellent at building relationships both internally and externally with clients and industry influencers.
