Job Description


The Mixer Operator is responsible for participating in the activities of the team to ensure all duties are performed to manufacture products. This includes working from batch tickets, established procedures and regulations, operating mixers, weighing, and measuring equipment.


  •  Assembles minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations. 
  • Prepares vessels and equipment for processing.  
  • Charge ingredients into mixing vessels according to the batch ticket. 
  • Monitor blending process for two or more product lines.  
  • Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. 
  • May perform packaging and filling duties.  
  • Follow safety guidelines



•    Ability to read, write and comprehend English
•    Follow verbal instructions 
•    Must be able to bend/stoop approximately 25% of the time
•    Ability to raise over 80 lbs. multiple times



•    Use of basic math skills
•    2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing 
•    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
•    Be able to communicate clearly with all employees in the department
•    Ability to climb up and down stairs numerous times during the day
•    Organizational skills
•    Show initiative
•    Thoroughness with all duties
•    Ability to effectively perform time management


•    High School diploma
•    1-2 years’ experience in mixing products
•    Basic computer skills – Microsoft Outlook (email), Excel and Word
•    Be able to stand approximately 100% of the day
